Our client, which operates with a complex supply chain spanning 50+ sites, engaged us to modernize its performance. With fragmented systems spanning ERPs, inventory platforms, and reporting tools, the client needed a scalable BI framework to improve visibility into its outsourced procurement performance and drive better economic outcomes through dynamic dashboards and actionable KPIs.

Solution

We deployed a specialized team of data architects, analysts, and visualization experts. This engagement was structured in three targeted workstreams:

  1. Dashboard Design and Architecture: We collaborated with stakeholders to define key performance indicators, measurement intervals (D/W/M/Q/A/Adhoc), and snapshot/histology criteria. Drill-down capabilities, navigation, and query criteria were identified to promote data accessibility and relevance.
  2. Technology & Data Environment Assessment: We evaluated our client’s existing infrastructure, including Maximo, PeopleSoft, SQL, and Tableau, to identify source data constraints and limitations. This phase also produced a technology roadmap and recommendations for mitigating system integration constraints.
  3. Development, Testing, and Deployment: Using test environments and cleansed datasets, we built, configured, refined, and deployed custom dashboards aligned with business objectives, leveraging Tableau, Snowflake, and Alteryx. A modular approach ensured scalability and ongoing refinement.

We deployed an Agile development methodology. Our team provided weekly executive updates outlining progress, open issues, and next steps, ensuring complete alignment with business priorities and operational timelines.
