Our client wanted to realign its cost structure in response to industry benchmarks. With operating expenses and general and administrative costs above peer averages, leadership needed to capture immediate cost savings while pursuing organizational changes to support long-term financial improvement. Simultaneously, our client needed to relocate its accounting and support functions from Atlanta to Houston, requiring interim leadership and staff to maintain continuity.

We partnered with our client to execute a comprehensive, two-pronged initiative which included an enterprise-wide cost transformation for short- and long-term cost savings –
Phase I: A 6-week sprint focused on high-impact, quick-win savings across Opex and G&A;
Phase II: A deeper, 4-month analysis and execution of medium- to long-term savings initiatives, leveraging cost-benefit and feasibility modeling.
Using a toolkit of proprietary cost transformation tools, we collaborated with internal leaders and the executive steering committee to plan, track, and realize cost reduction opportunities. Furthermore, to support the relocation of key operations to Houston, we provided interim financial leadership and SME support, rebuilt the finance function through targeted recruiting and onboarding, and ensured continuity with detailed process documentation.
