The Challenge

Our client—a leader in the metals industry for more than 100 years – was implementing Coupa as part of a project to improve their overall source-to-pay procedures and required project and change management experience and expertise.  They knew that change management would be a challenge because their current methods and ways of working were deeply ingrained into their daily processes and procedures.

The Solution

Our Sirius Solutions’ Project Management Team delivered a multi-channel project and change management plan that included messaging to internal users and suppliers; a focused engagement plan for individuals with the most influence over the change’s acceptability; and a comprehensive training and support plan.

The plan included the capacity for leadership to share information throughout the business, direct communications with end users, and talking points that purchasers could share with their end users so that we could engage with every level of the organization.

We took the time to discover the culture via a series of interviews and then used that knowledge to train the leadership on how to support the transition most effectively.

We also ensured that purchasers and end users had many opportunities to ask questions and provide feedback.

In addition, we made the material accessible via email, infographics, PowerPoint presentations, videos, and fast reference guides.
